Join us for our quarterly, gathering with other weavers whether you have a table loom, a rigid heddle, a tapestry frame, inkle, tablet - or anything weaving!  For this session we are going to have a discussion about warping.

A few of us are also discussed the idea of creating a 'gamp' as a form of colour sampling.  If you wish to pre-warp your loom for this it should be warped in equal portions of each colour for approximately 1 inch or more of each colour.  

Our day will start with a discussion about different warping methods for weaving before we carry on with weaving and individual discussion about our skills and projects.  If you would like to bring samples associated with warping techniques please do.

On the day, you should bring:

- a loom warped to work on a 'gamp' or

- your loom and current weaving project to work on throughout the afternoon.

Coffee, tea and cake/biscuits will be provided on the day - please bring your own lunch.
