Do you want to become a fashion designer? Debra Drake from Sewing with Style will take you through the process over a set of sessions this autumn. ‘From Classroom to Catwalk: How to become a fashion designer’ will take place over 8 Thursday sessions from 4-6pm, see all dates below. Start by thinking about the design process, make a toile and produce your wearable fashion. This course is suited to ages 11-18.
Materials provided - all materials are included to make toiles (prototypes) of your designs.
Bring your own materials including: If you have a specific fabric in mind, you’re welcome to bring your own fabric.
Sewing Kit – sewing threads, bobbin, fabric scissors, paper scissors, stitch ripper, measuring tape, tailors’ chalk, pins.
