Our young designers days are created for young people, ages 13 to 18, interested in design. 

These sessions give you the opportunity to develop skills associated with textiles.  The third workshop day, in March, will focus on . ‘FOLD & STITCH’

We will start by joining fabrics with basic patchwork techniques in the morning, developing sewn embellishments and then in the afternoon use your fabric designs to make a small pouch/bag by folding, sewing and adding a zipper.

: calico & cotton remnants, 5" zipper, various threads for sewing and embroidery.  Materials provided
